The KINDSIGHT(r) Blog is honored to present this guest piece by Anthony Cozzolino of Brooklyn, New York. I first met Anthony when he was the contractor for creating the interior of the amazing restaurant LT Burger in the heart of midtown Manhattan. Located in the space that a century ago was the workplace of Nikola Tesla, Anthony and his team lovingly restored many of the original features of the space, adding many additional antique fixtures, while making it fully functional and user friendly in today's world. Anthony and I talked shop about photography many times and he shared with me many of his uniquely rendered photographs of his beloved New York. Recently, he sent me this wonderful image and story of a local shopkeeper in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn, that is a shining example of KINDSIGHT(r) in action.
