R - I loved this story the memories and thoughts that transpired from the stillness of the Gourami and whir of the filter. I’ve often had fish tanks and was mesmerized both by the constant stillness and movement. The times past in your aunt’s apartment and family rang a bell to me too (albeit “Aunt Evy, Uncle Al, etc …). BTW – love those lips - a great capture!
